World Bank - Financial Analysts Journal Conference on “Public Asset Management: Best Practices and Innovations for the Future”
20 March 2026
Michael Chin, Head of Research at Allocation Strategy, presented at the Joint World Bank – Financial Analysts Journal Conference on "Public Asset Management: Best Practices and Innovations for the Future", on March 16–17, 2026 in Washington, DC.
The conference, organised jointly by the World Bank Group Treasury and the CFA Institute, brings together financial analysts, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss practice-oriented research of value to public investors — including central banks, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds.
Allocation Strategy's presentation outlined our research on sovereign fund asset allocation, examining how public investors can strengthen portfolio resilience by integrating macro-economic dynamics into ther asset allocation decisions.
We are very grateful for the invitation to present and for the thoughtful discussions and comments from the conference participants.
The research paper can be found here, and an Insights summary article here.
