Pavol Povala, CEO of Allocation Strategy, spoke on the opening panel — "The Base Layer: Building the Common Data Record Across Public + Private" — at the 2026 London Private Markets Technology Summit on 25 June 2026.
He made the case that while private and public data are converging operationally — through better frequency, identifiers, and look-through — the harder, still-unsolved convergence is analytical: mapping both into a shared risk-driver representation so the whole portfolio can be allocated against as one.
