
We’re hiring our first dedicated sales leader to own and scale Allocation Strategy’s commercial function. This is a rare chance to join a fintech redefining institutional asset allocation at an early stage, with full autonomy to build our sales engine from the ground up and a clear path to Chief Revenue Officer.

Objective
Build and lead the sales function at Allocation Strategy, covering the full lifecycle of sales to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. Establish a scalable sales process, engage institutional asset allocation teams and macro investors, and work closely with the founding team to refine our product based on market feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the go-to-market and sales strategy
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline from scratch
- Articulate Allocation Strategy’s value proposition to clients
- Convert prospects into long-term institutional clients
- Establish our CRM-driven workflow and sales playbook
- Define and deliver on key sales KPIs (ARR growth, client acquisition)
- Collaborate with the product team to refine our offering and GTM strategy
- Gather and share market insights to shape product roadmap
- Hire, lead, and scale the sales team as we grow.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have:- 10+ years’ experience in financial services sales, ideally in investment solutions, financial data/infrastructure, fintech, or investment tech
- Deep network and/or understanding of institutional investors, particularly asset allocators and macro teams.
- Experience selling to CIOs, portfolio managers, or investment strategy teams
- Familiarity with asset allocation, macro strategy, and investment modelling tools
- Proven track record of building and closing a pipeline from scratch
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with a hands-on mindset
- Ability to translate client feedback into actionable product insights
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Experience in high-growth startups or as part of a founding team
- Understanding of procurement and compliance processes in institutional investing.
