Allocation Strategy appoints serial entrepreneur and leading indexing executive Tobias Sproehnle to advisory board

Allocation Strategy, a provider of cutting-edge analytics for asset allocation and macro investing, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tobias Sproehnle, CFA, to its advisory board. Mr. Sproehnle is a serial entrepreneur and a recognised thought leader in benchmarks, indexing, data products as well as financial market infrastructure.
Tobias’s appointment marks a significant step in strengthening Allocation Strategy’s capabilities as the company expands its offering to institutional investors. His deep expertise in financial markets and fintech innovation will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s evolution.

Tobias has three decades of experience in financial markets. He currently builds PANTA, a SaaS company that is revolutionizing the index industry. Prior to that, he co-founded Moorgate Benchmarks, a white-label index calculation provider that he led to the company’s acquisition by Morningstar. Prior to that he served as CEO of Thomson Reuters Benchmark Services. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at London Stock Exchange, IHS Markit and Deutsche Börse and was a key architect of the European regulatory framework for benchmarks. Tobias is also a board member and investor in several high-growth fintech companies.
